For a year I lived in Fairfield, IA, a 10,000 person town in the middle of hills and cornfields. A bunch of people moved there when the Beatles became fond of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the Trancendental Meditation that he brought to the west. People moved there for meditation, and most of them brought their spiritual toys with them. There is a university and grade school that incorporates the meditation and organic vegetarian food into their curriculum. The thought of moving there was irresistable, and indeed I know no place like it.
